The children's play area needs to be renovated badly. It is unsafe entirely. With the increase in young families on my street alone (Fieldcrest) it is imperative that it become a safer park for both toddler and preschool children. Of course, it will be utilized by school aged kids as well. Any improvement would be welcome. As it stands, it is a shame that me and my neighbor travel to Campbell in the summer so our kids can play safely. In fact, it's ridiculous. Our neigborhood is changing and if we want to continue to attract young families who will invest in our community, then the city needs to make La Colina and other parks a priority.
