Subj: Home Robbery - Calero between Snell & Lean
From: jeaclark@nortelnetworks.com (Jeanette Clark)

I thought after living in my home for 7 years and in a good neighborhood, I was fairly safe, but I was in for a shocking realization, when on Monday, March 12, 2001, between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., my home on Bay Street was robbed of all electronic equipment, money, phones, food, jewelry, blankets, and etc. (Approx. value 15 K) There are three men believed to have committed this crime and were seen suspiciously hanging out, at the home next to me by my neighbor, my neighbor reported this to 911, but when the police arrived the thieves were nowhere to be seen. Of course they were probably already inside my home. The men were described as being Hispanic males in their early twenty's with Marine Corp. style haircuts. They are believed to be driving a red pick with a silver bottom and a construction rack. This vehicle is also described as being a 70's Chevy style pick up truck.

The vandals pried open my back window with possibly a crow bar, and proceeded to the garage, where they opened up the automatic garage door, pulled their vehicle into the garage hitting my dryer and nearly pushing it through my family room wall, closed the garage door, and then proceeded to load all our belongings into their truck.

If you have information, my brother is offering a reward of $500, to anyone that provides information leading to a conviction of those individuals involved.

You can contact me via email computrlad@aol.com or the San Jose police and reference case number 01-071-0673.

Your help to provide information that would convict these thieves, that not only stole my kids and my belongings, but devastated my children in the process (They were the first ones home to see this tragedy), would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Jeanette
