| The San Jose Police Department issued a press release regarding Cat Burglar Warning. One of the homes listed in the press release that was buglarized is only two streets away from our home. [SAS] |
Since we were burgled the other night, I've talked to a few neighbors and I was told of an even more disturbing tale. A neighbor of mine walked into his (opened) garage in the middle of the day and in there was some man rifling through his belongings. When confronted the man backed out saying "it's cool man" or something to that effect and got into a van and drove away. This person did not file a report (should have!) and unfortunately did not get a license plate number. Folks, there are strange people wandering through our streets -- be careful and CALL the COPS when strange things happen!

| Late last Wednesday night (3/25) or early Thursday morning, both my neighbor's van and our van were burgled as well. My neighbor lost a cellular phone but it doesn't appear that anything was taken from our van. Our family will file a police report as well to let the police department know. [SAS] |
