Vine and West Humboldt streets, 2:15 a.m. Tuesday According to police, an officer was assaulted trying to apprehend a man wanted for a car burglary. The man managed to escape only to be caught by a police dog a short time later.
1900 block of Tully Road, 11:26 a.m. Monday Police say a customer assaulted an employee of a business. Officers placed the customer under arrest upon arrival.
1800 block of East San Antonio Street, 6 a.m. Monday Two men robbed a custodian at knife point in the parking lot of a school.
4800 block of San Felipe Road, 6:07 a.m. Monday Officers responded to an armed robbery in progress at McDonald’s. Police performed a traffic stop and arrested three occupants of a vehicle related to the incident.
Foley Avenue and Miami Drive, 9:10 p.m. Sunday Three people approached a street vendor, one allegedly pointing a gun while demanding money. After a brief tussle, the vendor ran off, leaving his cart. Police apprehended the three a short time later.
Patricia Way and Merle Avenue, 4:09 p.m. Sunday An ice cream vendor was robbed at gunpoint by a man and woman.
King Road and Alum Rock Avenue, 3:20 a.m. Sunday Three men attacked another man in his car and fled.
Capital Expressway and Aborn, 4:38 p.m. Saturday A woman shopping at Ross was approached by two people who threatened to stab her with a sharp object if she didn’t comply with their demands. The two forced the woman to withdraw cash and followed her home where they stole items.
Remington Way and Windwood Way, 8:47 p.m. Sunday Someone in a vehicle shot a bicyclist and fled.
San Carlos and Almaden Boulevard, 12:57 a.m. Sunday A man was assaulted at a light rail station by a stranger who asked for a cigarette. Moments later, officers arrived and had to subdue him, subsequently placing him under arrest.

Victor Avenue, 10:30 a.m. Monday Police say someone gained entry to a vehicle and stole property.
Sharmon Palms, 8:15 a.m. Monday A car window was smashed and a navigational device was stolen.
LOS GATOS
400 block of North Santa Cruz Avenue, 9:32 p.m. Friday Police say a woman was caught shoplifting at Safeway.
