2300 block of Woodland Avenue, 9:54 a.m. Thursday Two juveniles who pulled up to a residence in a stolen vehicle and then went into the backyard while a neighbor was watching were apprehended and arrested after police arrived.

1000 block of Drexel Way, 12:35 p.m. Thursday A male broke into a house, pointed a gun at a person inside and demanded to know where a family member who owed him money was, then ran out the front door.

Almaden Road and Via Monte Drive, 10:30 p.m. Thursday Police tried to arrest two people who punched and robbed a woman at gunpoint. One was apprehended following a struggle that injured two officers. The other person got away.

Senter and Coyote roads, 4:10 a.m. Friday A clerk at 7 Eleven was struck on the head with a pipe by a person who stolen items.

LOS GATOS

Los Gatos-Saratoga Road and Santa Cruz Avenue, 11:28 p.m. A juvenile was determined to be driving under the influence.

15698 Los Gatos Blvd., 5:25 p.m. Thursday A man attempting to cash a false check at Chase Bank was arrested. He was also booked on charges of possession of a weapon and counterfeit money, identity theft and burglary.

14600 block of Oak Road, 4:04 p.m. Thursday Someone threw paint on the side of a vehicle.

100 block of Curtner Avenue, Thursday Property was reported stolen from a storage locker.

PALO ALTO

417 Lambert St., 12:59 a.m. Wednesday A business was burglarized.

2701 Middlefield Road, 6:57 p.m. Wednesday A shoplifter ran off with bottles of energy drinks.

fREMONT

Marigold Drive, Thursday Neighbors called police about a person breaking into a house. When officers arrived, the person jumped fences and got away — but only for a while. Another witness spotted the person near McDonald’s on Mission Boulevard and Highway 680. When contacted, the person bolted again, but police caught him. According to police, a second person may have also been involved.

37422 Fremont Blvd., Thursday A man at Backdoor Lounge made comments about another patron’s girlfriend. He ended up with a broken elbow and required a number of stitches, and the boyfriend broke his hand.

1000 block of Eastwood Court, 10:33 a.m. Thursday Grand theft involving a laptop computer was reported.

500 block of Gabilan Street, 7:41 p.m. Thursday Suspicious circumstances were reported. Police responded, but no one was home.

600 block of Berry Avenue, 12:21 p.m. Friday Vandalism was reported.

300 block of Constitution Drive, 7:48 a.m. Thursday A person was reported to be distributing threatening leaflets.

1300 block of Almanor Avenue, 10:45 a.m. Thursday Two people tried to break into a residence through the sliding glass door.

1100 block of Windermere Avenue, 12:05 p.m. Thursday A video game console was taken from an unlocked house.
